New Academy Netball Legacy Project leader, Martha Mosoahle.

We are delighted to introduce our new Academy Netball Legacy Project leader, Martha Mosoahle.

Martha, also know as Samm, was born in Winburg in the Free State. She studied Sociology Sciences at the University of the Free State, whereafter she successfully completed three additional qualifications namely a Sociology Honours Degree (RAU), a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (RAU) and finally a Sociology Masters Degree at the University of Johannesburg.

It is safe to say that sport, specifically netball, is in Martha’s DNA. She is the former Protea Netball team captain where she took the lead from 2003-2006. Currently she holds three netball coaching positions. She is the CUT Head Coach, the Free State Crinums Head Coach as well as the Protea Fast Five Team Head Coach.

In light of the build up to the 2023 Netball World Cup in Cape Town this new netball project, together with Martha’s invaluable skills, experience and expertise, will support a winning nation and create an enabling environment which are two crucial aspects in the improvement of sport successes by supporting players at all levels of participation.

Keep an eye on our social media pages and website for more information on our Academy Netball Legacy Project in September.
